To me, this is Germany. From a cyclist's perspective, this is what Germany is all about and why I am comfortable skipping it. If I had a Euro for every time I've seen a bike path sign with the "Ende" modifier, I'd be rich. Here's the essential problem: in Germany, bike paths aren't designed to give cyclists a place to exist, they are designed to give cyclists a place to not exist for the benefit of car traffic.
